Simply explained explanation
How often an ad was reported as displayed.
Professional explanation
Total served ad impressions over the selected period; repeat exposures to the same user are counted separately.
Analytical explanation
Investigate delivery changes against budget, ad rank, eligible audience, targeting and seasonality. Impressions alone say little about attention.
Technical explanation
An integer platform count aggregated by date and dimensions; different platforms and formats have their own delivery criteria. Not the same as reach or viewable impressions.
